(giving information to someone) Squeal vs Squeak

Hi! :)

If we want to give information to someone, can I use these verbs interchangeably?

Example:

Someone must have squealed / squeaked on him.

    If you mean that someone reported what he was doing, it's "squealed". I've never heard "squeak" used in that sense.
