I am going to jog. My mother asked me where I was going . So what should I use:
    I am going for jogging.
    I am going jogging.

Is the use of 'go for' correct ?
    Thank you

It's the same principle as in your earlier thread on "out jogging" vs. "out for jogging".
Out jogging or out for jogging

I agree with Barque and heypresto.

If you want to use 'go for', you can say on your departure: "I'm going for a jog."
