Nadia tells her friend Izabel about her meeting with Iain. Iain is in love with her. She, as yet, is not sure of her feelings.
Can anyone help me to understand the phrase: "made her go soft and watery-limbed".
Thanks in advance.
“How do you feel when you’re with him?” Izabel asked.
Nadia wanted to say that Iain made her go soft and watery-limbed, made her want to shout and laugh and make incomprehensible babbling sounds.

Hello Ktm. Well, it's like in he reduces me to jelly ... only more so. I.e. he makes her feel dizzy, weak-at-the-knees, floppy, rubbery, unable to stand up straight or think straight ... in other words he makes her feel ... well, like jelly on a plate:)
