Gracias por tu comprensión

    Hola a todos,

    No estoy muy seguro cómo he de decir "Gracias por tu comprensión" en inglés.
    Is "Thank you for understanding" correct?

    Hola,

    creo que "thank you for understanding" o "thank you for your undestanding" son correctos. Pero espera por más opiniones ^^

    Gracias a los dos. Tenía la misma duda pero creo que ambas formas son correctas. Alguna opinión más..?

    Thank you for understanding or Thank you for your understanding

    Either one is fine

    Yes... either one is fine. Either one is grammatically correct. I want to comment on a subtlety, though.

    "Thank you for your understanding" sounds more cliche, feels more like it came out of the cookie-cutter.

    "Thank you for understanding", in my personal opinion, has a stronger emphasis on you being sincere/thoughtful about what you're saying.
