    The sentence probably passes the "everyday conversation" test.

    "shared together like they were yesterday" would, I suppose, be "correct."

    Subject-verb agreement aside, it also seems odd to suggest that "great days" occurred "yesterday." That question would also mar another phrasing: "I remember the days we shared together as if they had happened yesterday."

    Sounds fine to me, Beautilful, except that I also would change it was to they were.
    Me too.

    I'd also take out "together", beautilful_garbage.

    Once you've got "shared", you don't need the "together".
