Hello,

"Met some cool guys yesterday. One of them showed great interest to get to know each other." Could you be kind to tell me whether the second statement correct or not?

Thanks!

It would sound more natural to say: One of them was really interested in getting to know the other one. If you mean that one of them showed interest in getting to know you, you could say: One of them was really interested in getting to know me.

One of them showed great interest in our getting to know each other.

One of them showed great interest in the two of us getting to know each other.
