I would be grateful, If someone could tell me the time duration of using "Good afternoon"

    Well, obviously after 12 noon—but I guess the real question is when does "afternoon" end and "evening" begin? It's a good question, but I'm not sure it's a language question. Personally, I think I probably react to the level of light outdoors: When it's nearly sunset time, and it's beginning to get dark, I tend to "Good evening".
