Hi, everyone, here is a sentence from a financial markets analysis:
This morning's move seems to have been generated after the news of the large size buying of the 1m 1.2675 strike, of which over half a yard went through.
Am I right to asume that "half a yard" means "half the size" here?

    I'm afraid I don't understand the technical language of your quote but I have never heard 'half a yard' refer to 'half the size' of something.
