Can I also call the supermarket aisles as hallways? Is there any hallway in the supermarket or just aisles?

I've never seen a supermarket with a hallway, at least not one in the shopping area. There might be a hallway in the back that leads to the employee washrooms. "Hallway" can not be used to replace "aisle."

A hallway is a corridor, with walls and a ceiling. The space between displays of goods in a store (or from front to back between the groups of seats in a theater or church) is an aisle.
