Have many jobs

Is "have" the right collocation for this sentence?

Throughout my life I have had many different jobs.

Forms of 'have' here are fine. Note: 'throughout' is a rather literary word. Common: during.

ADDED: Colloquial. "In my lifetime,...."

“throughout” sounds perfectly okay to me in this sentence, and “during” does not.
