Have Quietness

- Last night I turned off the TV because I wanted to have a quiet space.
- I think "...........to have quietness" is better, right?

Thanks a lot!

"to have quietness" is not common.
"To have a little quiet" is used often in the USA. (Another common phrase is "peace and quiet," as in "I just want a little peace and quiet.")
"To have quiet space" is just a little bit odd in that specific sentence. I would say "to have some quiet time." or "to have some silence."
