Malaysia English
'Have that breast removed' or 'have a mastectomy' is/are also possible.

Should I use 'is' or 'are'? Or should 'or' be changed to 'and'?

Thanks.

I think I usually hear are in this construction, because the sense is that both options, A or B, are possible.
