Hello,

"He could stay in the bathtub for hours as long as you gave him a massage." I'm talking about a dog. Is this statement correct?

Thanks!

    I find it correct but...
My notion of "give him a massage" is that the massage does not last for hours. And "for hours" may also mean "indefinitely". So it means to me that maybe you first give him a massage and then he stays in the bathtub for hours. Or vice versa?...

Alternatively, if you massage him all along, perhaps the sentence should be
"He could stay in the bathtub for hours as long as you massage him."
