Which of the following are correct:

1-He ran fastest of all of us.
2-He ran fastest of any of us.

3-He ran fastest out of all of us.
4-He ran fastest out of any of us.

Which do you think, and why?

To tell you the truth, I'd go for 1, but my problem is that I don't think I had heard 'out of all of us' (or at least didn't notice it if I heard it) and now I learnt that it is correct. As for 'any', to me it doesn't seem to be too logical, but then again, apparently some people use it.

They all sound wrong to me. I want to include a "the" for the superlatve.
