this noun comes from the join between head ("carico") and loss ("perdita") litterally "perdita di carico"....... but I can't find it on WordRef.com dictionary.....

Does another noun exist with the same meaning?? and generally, what's the English for "carico"?? (referred to an hydraulic pump)

Thanks a lot
