The ground stem (also called qal) from רום means "to be tall or high". That means it is a stative verb. Why doesn't it look like a stative hollow verb like בוש or מית?
Are you sure Qal רום is a stative verb? Philippe Reymond's Dictionnaire d'Hébreu et d'Araméen Bibliques defines Qal רום as 'être élevé' (English: to be elevated), which is an event rather than a state.
