Hindi, Urdu: ke lie - meanings

Friends,

In Spanish, we have two translations for the English word "for": "por" and "para".

- "Para" translates "for" in a teleological (end, or purpose-oriented) fashion: "in order to", "directed to", "for the sake of".
I am doing this for the future generations. = "Yo hago esto para las generaciones futuras".

- "Por" translates "for" in an explicative, causal fashion: "because of", "due to".
I can't sleep for the heat. = "No puedo dormir por el calor."

In HU, the composite postposition ke lie also coalesces both meanings, lilke in English?
For example:

ye pɛhlii sarkaar hai jo jhuuT(h) phailaane ke lie jaanii jaatii hai = "known for divulging lies"
("because of", hence, I would use "por" here)
"conocido por divulgar mentiras"

kaaNgres ne jhuuT(h) phailaane ke lie banaayaa ikosisTam
= "an ecosystem for divulging lies"
("in order to", hence, I woud use "para" here)
"un ecosistema para divulgar mentiras"

Are both usages of ke lie in the two sentences above correct, and more or less equally frequent?

Thanks in advance for any answer

    Yes, I think so.

    Unimportant addenda:
    for divulging lies
In English, "for spreading lies." I think Spanish divulgar may have a broader semantic range than English divulge.
I can't sleep for the heat.
This English sentence is a little "stilted," at least to me. It would be more natural/conversational to use "because of" here.
