Hindi/Urdu: to laugh

I have heard two ways of saying 'to laugh': hasna هسنا हसना and haNsna هنسنا हंसना. Both are present in Platts btw.

Which way is more common (in spoken and in written language)?

ہنسنا - haNsnaa is probably much more prevalent in modern Urdu (both written and spoken), if not the solely used form.

On the other hand, ہسنا - hasnaa seems to be the form used in Punjabi (both written and spoken).

haNsnaa in Hindi; I have never heard hasnaa in fact.
