    Are you sure? I never heard that kind of translation (Funciones gozne or Funciones bisagra) and there are no related results if you google it.

    Google returns a number of results for the singular forms, "función gozne", "función bisagra", and hinge functions exist in mathematics. But your question speaks of a función "hinge", whereas your sentence refers to a "hinge-like loss function". A loss function is a "función de pérdidas", and your sentence would be something like "definan una función de pérdidas que opera como una bisagra para captar estos principios de similitud".
