Greeting,

Would you please tell if poisonous here mean killing? why his breath was poisonous? Since he ran very fast, so each breath might kill him, and act like poison?

    Because when you run very fast for very long, and you are unaccustomed to running, every breath eventually gives you a physical sharp pain, as if someone tears your lings apart.
