hi, i'm new here, i hope i do it right..! (my english is also not so good ;))

what i really want to know is.. what is: 'home is in my head' in French?

this sentence is from a song :D

    If you could give a bit more words of the song, that would help.
    I would understand it this way: "mon chez-moi est dans ma tête", but it depends on the context.

    Difficult to know what is really meant by this sentence.
    As a first impression, I'd say "Ma tête est mon chez moi".

    ok thank you for telling me this, it is not for homework, a friend of my gave me this site, because it is for a tattoo i thought i ask it here :)

    i googled for a translate site, but they say home = maison.
    thats why i'm asking really french ppl, they can tell the complete sentence.

    (i hope i typ it right :eek:)

    yes that is the right song! its from anouk :) but only the line 'home is in my head' i really like!

    maybe simply : "j'ai ma maison dans la tête" suggesting he (she) can go everywhere, he (she) always feels to be at home ; not need to have an actual house, the best is to feel free anywhere
    what do you think of that ?
