How to greet a Norse god

Hi, this is an old-fashioned way to greet people, mostly used in Italy in the Middle Ages (it is also used in the Italian translation of the Lord of the Rings). "Ben trovato" literally means "well found", but of course this isn't what I'm looking for, I need the correspondence in English and it has to sound old-fashioned! Thanks in advance

I'm translating a dialogue between a mortal girl and Odin. Do you think that Hail Odin, well met will do? Or do I need to be more formal?

Difficult to say, Bobet ~ it's one of those expressions that's been out of use for centuries. But probably not: it is rather a friendly greeting.
Hail, mighty Odin would probably be a more appropriate way to address a god as mighty as Odin.

Thanks, I think I'll use this one! Btw, is that your dog? Did you write mistakes on yur profile on purpose, if yes, why?
