    Hola a tod@s: ¿Qué diferencia hay entre estos dos vocablos "humming" y buzzing" relativas a un sonido o ruido?

    A mi entender son sinónimos.

    'humming' is nasal (with mouth closed) and 'buzzing' is the 's' sonora (an alveolar articulation).

    You can 'hum a tune'. 'buzz' is much harder for Spanish-speakers as the sound does not exist in Spanish so you can't hear it. Bees 'buzz' in English but in Spanish... 'zumbar' is much less onomatopoeic to a UK ear.
