Hello to all,

In my language we have an idiom when something terrible happens after another one! We say that is just one hump on top of the other!

For example: You are going to the airport. You run out of gas and then you realize you have got a flat tire. When you see you have a flat tire you say oh damn! That is just a hump on top of the other one!

I found this expression in English: Double whammy.

Does it work here or should I use something else?

I guess you could use it ironically.

You run out of gas and then you realize you have got a flat tire.

Great! That's the icing on the cake!
As I didn't have enough problems already!
