Sarah Jio writes in her 'The Last Camellia':

I hurried down the long hall to my room, and nearly ran into Mr. Humphrey, the chauffeur. “Sorry,” I said.“I’m a little turned around.”
“Indeed so,” he said.

Does I'm turned around mean I don't look very well ?

No, I'm afraid not. She had lost her way.

When you're a little turned around, you may think that north is south, or left is right, or some other direction that you are wrong about.

When you have a little lost you head, you may think the same, may you not? However, she hurried down to her room right way but she was disturbed, drained and without shoes on her feet; and Mr. Humphrey noticed that.
