    Polovan1, we need the complete sentence in which you wish to use this phrase, and some additional context (for example, your intended meaning). That's the only way we can tell if it's "correct" or not.

    Ok. "I acknowledge the fact that i dont know english well". I have used Oxfords meaning of the word: to accept that something is true

    Your use of the phrase is correct. However, it is a rather formal way of saying I admit/accept that ...

    (Oxfords should be written Oxford's, or rather the Oxford dictionary's, since Oxford is a town. :))
