Is it possible to use "I am always going to love you" as a synonym for "I will always love you"?

Context: a son visits his mum after ten yeras abroad.

    Both are possible.

If there is a nuance, will might suggest willingness or determination on the part of the mother (an act of will); going to might suggest inevitablility, maybe as a result of the personalities involved, perhaps perceived as an external pressure. But I think different people feel these nuances to different extents.
