    Hi,

I am late for work ... Is that correct if I say I am on delayed schedule today or something like that ?

    Thank you,

    Claude.

    I am late for work.
    I'm running late for work.
I am on a delayed schedule today.

    Any of these would work.

I have to be at work at 8:00 a.m. It is now 8:30 a.m. I am late for work.

Normally, I have to be at work at 8:00. Today, however, my manager agreed that I could come in at 8:30 because of reason X. I am coming in late for work.

    Small difference. Hope this helps.
