I've come across this question on Expressions similar to Modals subject of an exercise book for Cambridge Examination. It asks how else we can say the following.
"I am to welcome the guests and show them to their rooms."
I guess the answer is either "I must welcome..." or "I'm supposed to welcome..." However, I just can't make it sure which one is right and why not the other.
I'll be glad for the suggestions.
