My friend is writing a fantasy story and asked me to translate several lines of dialogue from English to French. I'm afraid that my knowledge of grammar and idioms is lacking.

This is a man speaking to a female deity (formally): "Goddess, you are my life. I could no more forget you than the sun decide not to rise."
She responds, threatening: "I am giving you this one chance; leave and forget you found me."

My friend's try at the first line: "[…] Je ne pouvais plus vous oubliez que le soleil décide de ne pas lever."
