    The ending is strange.
    I think it's because concerts may finish, but they are not usually finished.

    I couldn't wait for the concert to finish.
    I couldn't wait for the concert to be over.

    I think it really depends on what the speaker's intention is:

    1. I couldn't wait for the concert to be finished. -> In this case the musician is the agent. Maybe the performer was exceptionally bad?

    2. I couldn't wait for the concert to finish -> The concert is the agent (I was looking forward to the conclusion of the concert because I had to go to the bathroom, for example)

    In my opinion, sentence 2 would be more likely to be produced by a native speaker.
