    Hi!

I am in the process of drafting a Commercial Invoice template for my company, so I've been looking at a few samples online. Most of them have some type of statement at the bottom that says that all of the information in the invoice is correct; however, FedEx's sample statement doesn't seem to be correct to me. :/

It says, "I declare that all the information contained in this invoice to be true and correct."

I think using "declare that ... to be" isn't right. I think it should say either, "I declare that all the information contained in this invoice is true and correct" or "I declare all the information contained in this invoice to be true and correct."

Does anyone know which one(s) are correct?

    Thanks!!

    Welcome to the forum. :)

I declare that you should apply to FedEx as a copywriter. Both of yours are correct; theirs isn't. Why not write them and point it out and see what their response is.

Thanks! I'm glad to hear that I haven't completely lost my mind!
I think I will tell them about it. Who knows, maybe I can convince them to hire me. :D
