    Both are OK, but the first sounds better.

    I agree as well - the second may be grammatically correct but it's by far not as commonly used as the first.

    I thrice agree. The reason being for the first one sounding quite better is because "to start to" puts together the word "to and to" to close. But, both are absolutley fine!
