Hello,

Here's some context:"We actually started shooting at 11.30.It was the scene with wango, and I feel very, very much more comfortable with the character

I have a center to him.

Could anyone help me understand the last sentence? Thank you very much in advance.

    Welcome to the forum Tetrapharm.
With regards to context you can quote up to four lines and should also provide the source/author of the quote. This one is from Simon Callow's "Shooting the Actor".

"We actually started shooting at 11.30.It was the scene with Wango ... and I feel very, very much more comfortable with the character. I have a centre to him, I know what I'm doing. Now things can start to happen of their own accord."

Actors need to find the centre of the character they play. This means those rules and emotions which form the core of the personality. Once that has been identified the actor can behave like that person, putting the appropriate emotion and action into the words in the script.
