Q:
Please help me to understand why can't choice (A).

ref. Answer key, say:
one= one eagle alive 。

    It's a very odd question, (and an oddly worded answer) but only 'one' makes any sense.

    'It' would only work in the answer if the question had been about a specific eagle.


    But note that nobody would ever ask this question, or answer in this way.

    Have you ever seen an eagle? Yes, I have seen one. [not a specific, known eagle]
    Did you see the eagle? Yes, I saw it. [a specific eagle]
