I have worked there from 2001 to 2003

I don't really know if it correct to use " I have worked there from 2001 to 2003"... What about " I worked there from 2001 to 2003" ? Could you help me , I'm always a bit worried with the use of the present perfect and the simple past. Thanks a lot!

    You use "have" only if something is still happening.

    You worked there from 2001 to 2003. That is completely in the past, you are no longer working there, so only "I worked there from 2001 to 2003" is correct.
