Some Mexicans use, "Te tengo en la palma de mi mano" in this same sense but, in the back of my mind, I have this gnawing suspicion that other people may use, "en la palma de la mano, in the religious sense:
No os he dicho que llevo vuestra imagen grabada EN LA PALMA DE MI MANO
What do you think Spanish-speaking foreros?
Is this last suggestion synonymous with "I've got you wrapped around my finger"or does it have the biblical meaning of "you are cherished and sheltered in the palm of my hand"
