Hey,

I want to know if this sentence is correct:

I need some ideas to keep from sleeping in chemistry tuition.

Is the word 'ideas' right here or 'suggestions' would be a better choice? and is the underlined part correct??

Thanks in advance.

"suggestions" is better than "ideas" although that's not wrong. You want to not start sleeping so it would be better to say things like "to stay/remain awake" or "to keep from falling asleep". You should look up the word "tuition" in a dictionary as well.

Thanks mate, that really helps :) So, I think this sentence should be better, right?:

I need some suggestions to keep from falling asleep in chemistry tuition.

Edit: By the way, would this be still better?:

I need some suggestions to keep myself from falling asleep in chemistry tuition.
