I need to <work on> my serve.

I play tennis but I don't have a very good serve. (I probably don't use the proper technique!) I want to say "I need to work on my serve." in Chinese. Would this be "我因该/需要致力于我的发球"? (Feel free to change this completely! It doesn't have to be 直译)

For me, rephrasing to "我需要多练练发球。" or "我需要在发球上多下点功夫。" makes it more colloquial. "致力于" is all right in the right cicumstances. It's used in a way similar to "committed to/dedicated to".

应该, not 因该
致力于我的发球 is unidiomatic.
致力于 + verb + some greater cause. e.g. 致力于研发新产品 致力于提升人民生活水平
