    A man's been cheating on his wife with widows for three years, but he doesn't think he's guilty of anything:
    — I get to give love and happiness to people who really need and appreciate it. Hell, I'm the west coast distributor of love and happiness. And for that, I have to go to court? Now I don't deserve that. I should get a dinner!

    Awards of various kinds are often given at large ceremonies that include dinner. I think he’s saying he deserves one of those ceremonies, not just a free dinner at KFC. :D

    I have heard of some heads of state who prefer KFC over ceremonial repasts. :D
