Hi everyone,

Please see the sentence "I snack on fried food once a day". I have seen this sentence in a video. But as a non-native speaker, I tend to say "I eat fried food once a day". Is this OK? I would like to get your opinion on this.

Fried food is usually a significant amount: it would count as a meal. A snack is a small amount, less than a meal. There might be some kinds of fried food that people 'snack on', but they're not the most common kinds.
