The quotation comes from Trump blames sexual assault claims on collusion between Clinton and media

Quotation: “I never knew it would be this vile, this vicious,” he told the crowd in Florida. “Nevertheless I take all of these slings and arrows gladly for you. I take them for the movement so we can have our country back.”

He added: “I will not allow the Clinton machine to turn our campaign into a discussion of their slanders and lies, but will remain focused on the American people.”
Hi everyone! Does the bold part mean "I endure all of these vicious attacks (i.e., allegations that he has sexually assaulted many women) gladly for you"?

Yes. He's taking 'slings and arrows' from a famous speech in Shakespeare's Hamlet:

To be, or not to be--that is the question:
Whether 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer
The slings and arrows of outrageous fortune
Or to take arms against a sea of troubles
And by opposing end them . . .

Whether he knows this, I wouldn't like to say. :D
