Hi all;

I decided to sell may watch, so I took my watch to a store (in order to sell). Could I say;

I took it to a store to sell OR I took it to a store for selling

Thanks,

    I would expect to see the pronoun repeated, though in speech I expect some people wouldn't bother with it.

    - What did you do with the gold watch I gave you?
    - I took it to a store, to sell it. I told the owner, "I've got a gold watch to sell/for sale".
