I have thousands of questions everyday in my mind!!!

Please check this sentence out.

I trusted you as much as I trusted my best friend.
(I trusted you a 10 out of 10 . I also trusted my bf a 10)

Is the sentence correct, and are they any other ways to say the sentence??

    I think I'd say "I trusted you [with the thing in the past that you are talking about] as much as I [always/still] trust my best friend"
    I would only use "trusted my best friend" if you no longer trust him/her.
