Hello,

I was interested in this profession <much/way/-> before it has become fashionable/cool.

What would be the right word before "before" to imply that it had happened long ago before that profession became cool?

    "Way" sounds normal in that sentence, atakeris. I'd expect to see "became" rather than "has become": I was interested in the profession way before it became cool.
