Bonjour à tous,

I would like to say something along these lines in a paper I am writing:

Since understanding this framework is crucial to my argument, I will cite Tombs at length.

The part that is bothering me is "at length." I obviously don't want to say "je vais beaucoup citer Tombs," or "à la longue" or "enfin" or any of the other translations I can find... maybe my brain is just running on empty tonight but does anyone have any synonymous expressions to suggest?

Merci beaucoup d'avance!

Oh and just to clarify, the important thing is I want to explain the actual LENGTH of the quote, since it is longer than usual. So something like "de façon compréhensive" doesn't quite seem to convey the same idea... but maybe that is as close as I can get?
