Icelandic: missing word... what case?

I have tried everything to fit in a missing word in this sentence online :

Þingvellir eru á ? Atlantshafshryggjarins.

I think it is maybe 'flekamót', but none of my declined answers is accepted.
It could be 'lýðveldi' but I'm not sure it makes sense.

Anyway, I give up as I need to move on. Can anyone help please?

Assuming that you have been using the correct case (dative), one to try might be flekaskil, a synonym for flekamót (“á flekaskilum Atlantshafshryggjarins”). Or maybe simply “á miðju…”.

Thank you Segorian. I have tried again and have finally managed to use 'flekamótum' as you confirmed the case I was trying to use at the beginning. I think my computer was bugging and that made me have doubts. :)
