If I am in Ireland and I want to talkabout France where I lived for years. May I say.. something like back home I used to play tennis. I want use this word "back home". Is it correct ?

    As long as the people you are talking to know that you are from France then it's fine.

    ('back home' is an expression, Claude and not a word.)

    I agree. "Back home" is very frequently used by foreigners residing temporarily in another country.
