If I had won in the second round, I would be playing in the third round.

Could you tell me which type of conditional statement it is?

Also, tell whether the word `playing' is `gerund' or `present participle'. I think it is `present participle' but if it was `present pariciple' it wouldn't satisfy any conditional statement rules. So, I am being confused.

Could you help me on this?

The correct sentence should be "If I had won in the second round, I would have been playing in the third round." This is an unreal conditional statement and "playing" is a "present participle."

I don't know what kind of conditional statement it is, but the sentence is correct if the third round has not been concluded yet.
