To make a kid silent I said this

If you don't go silent I am going to tell your mom.
Now I am wondering did I say right?
I mean it sounds right but you guys are the judges
Is there any suggestion.

It is grammatically correct but not idiomatic.

Maybe: "If you don't keep quiet I am going to tell your mom." or "If you don't stop talking I am going to tell your mom."

That's grammatically correct, but sounds non-native. More idiomatic would be, "If you don't quiet down I'm going to tell your mom." If you want to be really aggressive, you can say, "If you don't shut up I'm going to tell your mom."
